From engaging the loss of precious art objects in war-torn Iraq, to tracking the complexities of copyright on the internet, to measuring the impact of television programming on young Americans, today’s graduates will be forced to take on challenges produced by a rapidly-evolving global cultural system.
Even as creativity is emerging as a key ingredient of economic power, modern-day cultural issues in government and the marketplace have come to exhibit an unprecedented level of complexity and political intensity. Whether an emerging senior seeks a career in law, business, medicine, government or the military, the ability to understand and navigate our public and private-sector creative system is critical to personal and professional achievement in the 21st century.
The Curb Masters Degree in Creative Enterprise and Public Leadership is in development. The program will provide an efficient and invaluable path to knowledge and skills that will round out a four-year course of study while providing a solid foundation for an array of future educational and professional opportunities.
