Creative Campus Residential Fellows
Residential fellows meet bi-monthly to build relationships and engage with key community and campus leaders in the visual, literary, media, design, music, film and performing art organizations through projects, artist-in-residence programs, field trips, and guest speakers.

Ashley Chrisman

Ashley Chrisman is a junior at Vanderbilt University. She is very active on campus, participating in various groups including Rhythm & Roots Performance Company, Vanderbilt Performing Arts Council, and FilmVoice. Ashley is a member of the Creative Campus Community because she feels that this is an excellent opportunity to experience new ideas, and inspiration that may be used in the future. Her career goals include becoming a film and theatre director, and owning an independent production company.

Olivia Gallion



Olivia Gallion is a senior Communication Studies major, also double minoring in Spanish and Voice from Denver, Colorado. She has grown up surrounded by dance, music and art her whole life, and is now working on writing her first album. She went abroad in Florence, Italy last fall, where she studied Italian and drawing, and is hoping to find a way to integrate all her artistic interests upon graduation the May.

Donica has been a flautist for seven years. She is currently a sophomore in the College of Arts & Science and expresses herself musically through the Vanderbilt’s Marching Band, The Spirit of Gold. Her future endeavors involve either becoming a Cognitive Psychologist or an Obstetrician while continuing a relationship with music.

Christina is a sophomore at the College of Arts & Sciences who loves to dance. She has no idea what she wants to do with her life, but she does know she wants to go back to Houston to help out her community and dance. She loves all types of people and loves learning about their culture.

Hugh Schlesinger



Major:    Undecided; Likely Sociology & Political Science
Hometown:    Athens, GA

Hugh is really interested in studying low-intensity and normalized conflict, both in terms of internationally recognized conflicts like the Troubles in Ireland and the Israeli-Palestinian and more self-contained domestic conflicts like gang violence in America or other countries. Beyond that, Hugh works at WRVH as a Music Director and DJ and will spend a considerable amount of this semester listening to mix tapes for my Hip-Hop show.

Mallory is a sophomore in the College of Arts & Science. She aspires to study medicine and being a career as an Obstetrician/Gynecologist or Pathologist. She has been dancing for eleven years and continues her passion for dancing by performing with the Vanderbilt Danceline.
